Re: RSO VHF

They do not even have to use talk groups. The do testing once in awhile where they have a random unit standby and patch another city with them. I have heard Hemet PD be patched with a RSO Perris unit, and also Riverside PD be patched with RSO. RSO MoVal had also been patched with RCC PD. The talk gr...

Re: RSO VHF

If it is for the San Jac explorers. Chances are you will not hear any traffic except at events like Cristmas Parades, 4th of July Parade, Ramona Pagent, etc, and then again, only if you are close to it. It will not be through a repeater. Each explorer post has their own radios, if they even have any...

Re: 855.4625 AMR

I am going out on a limb and saying it maybe something they use if they have to go into SB County, which uses SBSOs system. That way they can use 800 band if they have to do an transfer to say Loma Linda or something, or if they are sent to cover 29 Palms or something. IDK. I know Hemet/San Jac AMR ...

Re: AMR Locations

Not saying you would hurt them. Just saying people could use the info we post, and stalk them or something. I pass a few locations when I am at work, but im not saying where :P

Re: R.S.O. Desert units designators

Yes most FDs do have Explorers. Even some ambulance companies, usually ran by cities. And Military braches even have some verson as well, not ROTC. But like the Marines they have a Young Pups program that is for like 12 or 13 to 17-18 year olds. I am 29 now, and have been an Explorer, armed security...

Re: OES units located at which stations

City of Hemet also has one, I think at Station 2.

For RVCFire, it is on their website, at http://www.rvcfire.org/opencms/facilities/FireStations/ and it lists all the stations, and what is assigned.

Re: R.S.O. Desert units designators

I was in it for 4.5 years, Temecula PD/RSO. It was fun, learned a lot. Worked a lot of events like the Tractor Race ( are no more :( ), Rod Run, 4th Of July parades, and events, Ballon and Wine fest, Ramona Pagent. Did searches for a missing person up in De Luz. He was found the following week, duri...

Re: AMR Locations

I would like to know as well...BUT I would not post it. Safety and security are several reasons. I have dated, and known a few AMR EMTs and Paramedics, and I doubt they would like it if the whole world knew where they could be found. Driving and seeing an ambo in a parking lot is one thing, but havi...

Re: R.S.O. Desert units designators

SSO are Sheriffs Service Officers, same as Community Service Officers. Handle accidents, transports, office stuff, logistics at the stations etc... Only the pay is a dollar or so less, and they cover the county areas. Honestly...I have not seen any, if ever. I think they are mostly at main administr...

Re: R.S.O. Desert units designators

I know this is old, but it may help someone else.

300s - are ALWAYS CSOs or SSOs, county wide, does not matter what area or station
400s - Usually gangs or special teams
500s - Usually Special teams like PoP or bike patrols.
