N6RVB, Where are you located? I'm listening to it right now with a good signal in the Riverside/ Corona area.

800mhz Rebanding Question
I don't know the specific details about rebanding, but my understanding is that the 861 ~ 868mhz frequencies formerly assigned to public safety have been / are being taken away from PS.
My question is this:
What happens to the National PS repeaters like FIREMARS on 868.9875?
Have they been ...

Transit Bus Emergencies in L.A.
I'm hearing something on 820.2875 that sounds like public bus transit. This is a repeater with no apparent PL code.
I've monitored this briefly over the past couple of days. It sounds like a frequency specifically for the bus operator to report problems / emergencies to a dedicated dispatcher. So ...

Okay, my bad. Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I meant 155.295, not 155.265.
Before the transition to digital, AMR used 155.295 as a repeater for their dispatch for the entire northwestern portion of Riverside County, including all of the cities for that area. The setup was 155.91 ...

Re: AMR on NXDN
I can't really address your question, as I don't have a digital-capable receiver. I did, however, want to comment that even though their primary dispatch freqs of 155.265R / 155.91 mob are digital, their repeater on 452.6875 PL103.5 is still analog.

Re: Help setting up pro-97 scanner by radio shack
I haven't checked in for awhile, so I missed this.
The Pro-97 won't do digital, so most L/E is out. Other than that, it's a good general purpose scanner, I have a few of them and use them daily. You definitely want to use the Starsoft template program. You can make different templates for different ...

Re: Holy Fire Cleveland NF
Update:
135.875 (above) is for the helicopters.
163.1 (new freq) is the Corona helibase.
167.0625 (new freq) is A/G.
167.1375 (new freq) sounds like hand crews.

Holy Fire Cleveland NF
I've been monitoring this fire since it started. It's been mostly an air show in inaccessible terrain. Although I haven't confirmed the actual use assignment for some of these, all of the frequencies below are being used on this fire.
122.85 This is a common a/a contact freq used by the fire a/c ...

CA DEpt of Water Resources?
According to my log, I haven't heard anything on this frequency for the past thirteen years, but yesterday it was active.
151.235 R PL141.3 "This is an exercise" followed by reports of damage to a dam, and stream release figures.
I have this listed but unconfirmed as CA Dept of Water Resources ...
