I checked and cannot find it, so you must have registered after 09. Go ahead and re-sign up and you will be good to go.
Ok, Brandon, thanks! I will re-register.

Thanks again for keeping the Scan Diego site alive!

Brandon,

Yes, same username as here. If you can't find it I'll re-register as you suggested.

Thanks!

Re: ScanDiego forums back up

Brandon, I cannot seem to log in to the ScanDiego forums with my username and password (that used to work on the old site). I am guessing that it might be because I joined during the time period that covered the info that was obliterated when the site went down. If so do I need to re-register? Thank...

Re: CALTRANS System - SysID: 4A6 - 857.9875 CC

Yep! Hearing traffic on 1212 as well. Something to do with cleaning up glass and then something about a closed gate. Sometimes it does sound like I only get one side like you mentioned earlier. If it isn't a radio issue (non-standard bandplan?) then maybe it's because the guys are close to each othe...

Re: SB County Search

I tested my GRE interferer calculator (experimental and far from complete or exhaustive!!) Excel file in LibreOffice Calc and ran into a glitch regarding function naming that took me a while to solve. But I've done that and saved it in the Open Document Format Spreadsheet file format (.ods). So, I'v...

Re: CALTRANS System - SysID: 4A6 - 857.9875 CC

Just caught my first voice traffic on the system - male calling "San Bernardino" and talking about the "Monte Vista Bridge". Female answered. Talk Group was 801.

Re: SB County Search

Brandon, It's possible, certainly, but given the OP's previous issue as noted in the earlier thread regarding what he heard on 417.8MHz it raised a red flag in my mind and I ran the numbers; a strong signal on 460.375MHz WILL come through on 417.575Mhz on his scanner with his setup, therefore it wou...

Re: SB County Search

Mike (retiredFD07) - I created an Excel spreadsheet for my own use to try and analyze the GRE internal superheterodyne frequency plan and potential artifacts like what you are experiencing. It's not intended for general use and has a lot of extraneous information - basically just me "dinking ar...

Re: SB County Search

I think you're getting bit by your radio's internal issues again! Try looking at 460.375MHz which is a UHF CHP frequency (according to the RR db). I think you will find the real signal on that frequency. Look over my math in this thread:http://www.scanriverside.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=76...
