Cmd 4 is used in desert center and Blythe area , heard Perris tell sta 45 ,44 go to this channel. FYI Cmd 6 is used in banning /Beaumont area.

I have been trying to figure out where to listen to medical helicopters enroute to/from Riverside Community hospital. One is there today, it is a bright red Bell 407 marked 'REACH". I have seen red Eurocopters there recently as well, I assume the same company. RR has no listings for REACH, any...

I hear mercyair use their VHF freq. listed in D.B. out here in coachella valley all the time. They contact base with info.. They use calcord at accident scenes out here or out in the desert rural areas.

The desert system is still up... I see patch 15-545 all the time. I'm thinking after coachella fest / stagecoach it will change. The radio was very quiet up to the time of coachellafest. I hear radio techs testing today ... 02-153 .

Glad to know I will because last year I lost Beaumont to digital encryption and soon I will loose RSO to the same thing.
