Re: Alerts
With that said, does that mean the San Diego City Police and Fire radios have RCS police/fire/ambulance mutual aid programmed in as well? Yes, that is what I said. There is a Countywide common fire fleetmap that has both RCS and SDFD talkgroups programmed. Many RCS LE agencies have SDPD talkgroups ...

Re: Alerts
I wouldn't expect the City of Riverside to ever do anything just because the county did it. Quite the opposite, actually. WEll for some reason the city and county are independent worlds. I mean San Diego City has it's own trunked radio system while the county is on a seperate one. Maybe Cali needs ...

Re: Temecula CHP on 39.340
Temecula CHP is now using 39.340 162.2 PL. I also heard the dispatcher mention they were no longer simulcasting with Oceanside units on the Tan. They had been using the Blue 1 (39.140) for a while due to problems with the Tan simulcast. Brandon could this have possibly been caused by interference? ...

Fed stuff isn't in the FCC database, and is not searchable in any other Fed database.cvrules90 wrote:It sure looks like a federal frequency. Re: San Diego County
I get a message from my ISP saying the ScanDiego forums page cannot be found. Just tried the ScanDiego page directly, and it is Tango Uniform. Sounds like ScanDiego forgot to pay their bill or else they called it quits. I dunno what Tango Union is, but it could be. I know these forums were down onc...

Re: RSO interop testing with SDSO on RCS
The patch is that - a console patch from a RCS talkgroup to a PSEC talkgroup. I'm curious what the transmission path is. Did they ever put in a microwave link between the counties, or are they doing it via air-entry across the two systems? There was talk of a mw link for years, probably from Elsino...

Re: CHP on 460.45
That is one of the 460 mhz frequencies that CHP inherited when they absorbed the old California State Police. The UHF freqs are used for CA State building security, VIP escorts & protection. I show 460.450 as a Northern CA freq, weird that you heard a '75' unit being dispatched on it, that is S...

Re: CHP on 460.45
I plugged in this freq and in the last hour I heard "Union Pacific 7534" and "Union Pacific 7503" callsigns on it. Interesting that you mention that, Brandon. When I heard this the other day it was in reference to the CHP unit being dispatched to a report of someone on the freew...

Re: UNID System - SysID: 4A6 - 857.9875 CC
I can get the control channel, but nothing happens when I program the freqs in, it won't trunk. What type/brand of scanner do you have? It's likely Phase 2, so you should consider going to the store and getting a BCD536HP. Considering CalTrans does not own Phase 2 capable subscriber radios, I suspe...
