Re: Murrieta PD?
Chad (318) Thanks for sharing your ideas! A cell tower somewhere in the area makes sense. The signal is clear as a bell during the daytime and again after 10pm at night. Could it be a local ham or someone that transmits between say 5pm-10pm. Units not close to a computer and have a discone about 5 f...

Re: using 159.36 to monitor supp 6 stations only
I think I may have stumbled on a cool way to hear only the support 6 area dispatches. The pl tone used is 110.9 on freq 159.36 for all support 6 dispatches. The advantage is you hear only 27 stations tones instead of 95+ The downside is you can only hear the dispatch and cannot hear the units acknow...

Re: RSO Site List...
Brandon Thanks for clearing that up! I have been very confused because I feel I am missing alot of traffic and do not know if its my scanner, the way it is programed or what. I have since added a Uniden 246t to compare with the GRE PSR 500. My PSR 500 gets hung up on the west and desert systems. It ...

Re: RSO Site List...
Brandon any reason for two extra frequencies in the southwest group? His list is different than socal freq directory(3rd edition) and different than the scan riverside site. Should I just maintain the frequencies I currently have loaded from the scan riverside May 20th update?
Thanks for the help!

Cannot receive Riverside City Police dispatch
I programed in all the Riverside City Freqencies for Fire and Police, Get most of the Fire Dispatches, however cannot hear any police dispatches. I receive the inquiry, car to car and detectives but nothing from dispatch. They all seem to be programed correctly. Could it be dispatch operates from a ...

Re: Whats the most effective way to listen to RSO Edacs
Hi 318, Thanks for the response. Good to know about RSO radios being able to change sites. So if a site goes down or they decide to go on a specific site they can at anytime. This is why I was wondering about the need to use all 11 sites. I have heard Temecula PD on Corona, Whitewater, Blyte, (not v...

Whats the most effective way to listen to RSO Edacs
Do you need to program all 11 systems to make sure you do not miss any traffic? I was given a copy of Scannerstuff 3rd edition and the Frequencies in the book do not match up with the frequencies on the scan riverside site. It seems like I miss many transmissions and have found Temecula PD on Corona...

Re: Murrieta PD?
I own a new GRE PSR-500 and for some reason Murrieta PD comes in with alot of motorboating sounds, so much so it drowns out the communications. I have tried the Attenuator,(no change) and the settings appear to be correct. I am less than 10 miles away so I do not know what could be causing the probl...
