Suppose 500 units could be the volunteer units, ie "canyon 500" would be a Canyon Lake Volunteer?

Gang unit working right now is "5 Gang443", and NOT a 500 unit. Close but no 500 unti

The only "500" units that I have heard have been Gang Units. One day I happened to walk in on a bunch of Gang cars having coffee at "my" coffee spot in Hemet, and then the next day I heard the same guys working a gang shooting in Southwest. They were wearing mostly swat like jump...

I don't often listen to Murrieta, but when I do they are loud and clear here in San Jacinto. Go figure.

Brandon is close to Murrieta as well and has trouble hearing them too.

In the days of rapidly changing information a printed book is useless, and as for "freqofnature" I don't think that they have updated anyhting for years!

If you are hearing the others you should hear dispatch. I listen to Riverside when passing thru. I listen to South 460.175 131.8 PL, and did so last week. Chheck the PL if you are using one to be sure it is set to 131.8
