The new station alerting system went into service late spring/early summer (I think). I believe the signal is sent through the county frame relay intranet thingy. It is way over my head on this. And they moved Command 6 on Santiago off the chain link fence and onto a tower. Works much better.
Yes. Works much better. I heard a rumor they moved it to the east side of the freeway but I would take that rumor with a grain of salt.

Soboba FD

Beginning tomorrow 9/17/14, RVC Fire will begin dispatching the Soboba FD (Indian Reservation). They will have 1 engine and 1 chief. They will not go off of tribal land unless requested by the Bureau of Indian Affairs or US Forest Service. They will be known as Soboba engine 1 and Soboba Chief 1.
