Hello. Yes the 246T will find them automatically. I just tested with mine and picks up Temecula by keeping the scanner on their main channel. I don't even have the patch IDs programmed into this radio.

Using Win96 and Win97 the files can be exported and imported (CSV format) found under the file menu. The Pro-96 supports 50 channels per bank and the Pro-97 has 100, so some stuff may cut out if going from Win97 -> Win96. Since you are using a USB-to-Serial converter, the COM Port won't be the default value (COM1) in Win97. I would try using COM3 and see if it works. If that does not, you may want to go into the Hardware Manager and view the setting. To find the COM port just right click on "My Computer", c...
