They are replacing the old spectra radios this week and any old HT'S. Looks like they are giving up their freqs to Sprint. Along with this change the PD end is looking into renting space on the county system.

Bought 1. Model H 777. Programed RPD and Fire I would recommend it if someone needs a drop proof hand held. The volume is great for its size! Just FYI.

Kind of funny CHP kept asking for Caltrans updates. I'm guessing it was to cold for them to get out of their cars and wanted to know status on the cones.

It's the radios thanks. Been programming for some time with all kinds of Kenwoods. These are the only ones that are horrible even on simplex.

Our company uses the TK 360-g1 on UHF. Saw these radios really cheap. We bought a couple to play with but the audio is really muffled. Oh well

I programmed them right, Now thinking its a poor quality radio. Oh well trying to save a buck. Back to the TK 360's.
