Re: Where Can I Get My Radio Fixed?
It's been a year since I posted this. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do anything with this info until recently. I also received some info from the SoCAl Milcom group I belong to. Here are the results of what I was able to find out: BearCom (downtown Riverside) - only handles professional radios, no ...

Re: 453.3
Thanks, I'm curious now as to who's using this dispatch system. BTW, when they were using the old PL, the repeater itself seemed to be over-modulated and hard to understand - which is actually the main reason I stopped monitoring it. The audio seems to be much better now.

Re: CALTRANS System - SysID: 4A6 - 857.9875 CC
Do you have that freq programmed as part of the new trunked system? It's not in the group of freqs from Radioreference for the new system. No, this is part of the old MOT system. I have those freqs still in my scanner but I'm scanning them in conventional mode to see if they're still being used. Ac...

Re: CALTRANS System - SysID: 4A6 - 857.9875 CC
Just heard "Santa Ana" and a C/T unit in the clear on 860.7375 in repeater mode (PL110.9) ref something on southbound I-5 south of Crown Valley. This freq was part of the old system 1224.

453.3
I used to monitor this freq for Riverside Community College security, but I don't monitor this much anymore since they went to a Regional dispatch with Cal State. They used to be using a PL of 192.8, but now they appear to be using 465. Have all of the users switched to the 465 PL or are they breaki...

Personally, based on your original post, I don't have a clue what you're asking for.

Re: SB County Search
Are you using and outside antenna? I'm not hearing anything in Hemet, but don't have an roof mounted antenna yet. Yes, I'm using a roof mounted antenna. If you're in Hemet, the San Jacinto Mountains are probably blocking your signal. From Riverside I'm practically line-of-sight through the Banning ...

Re: SB County Search
They just mentioned Black Eagle Mine Road, which runs through Joshua Tree NP. Also just heard "San Bernardino on park net", mentioned switching to a BLM channel.

SB County Search
417.575 is active with searchers checking mine shafts. They mentioned mine teams from L.A. County and San Bernardino County. Currently searching the Rosa Peru mine, wherever that is. I haven't confirmed whether this is a BLM freq or Joshua Tree NP freq. A couple of days ago I saw in the local news t...

Around 2PM this afternoon while driving around town, I heard CHP setting up a command post on 39.14.
