Sometimes, multiple repeaters may be associated with one site. For instance, when I was down south back in '09, I got Cabazon patrol cars on the Desert Site. That was the only one that was in my scanner at that time so I'm guessing they have simulcasts. I haven't taken my scanner to the far west end...

I like how all the incidents are in one place, and they don't open in another window like they used to. That was a big pain for me as sometimes I would end up closing the wrong window.

As far as I know, Ch. 3 is supposed to be alternative dispatch. May be used in overflows (like in the afternoon when most calls are coming in). Although I am not 100% sure of that. Maybe someone else who monitors it may know the correct answer to this.
