Re: Temecula Primary isn't patched anymore?
Okay, got it. I think they are way understaffed. I had to call 911 from a landline once a few years ago and had to wait 2.5 minutes before an RSO dispatcher answered the call. Thankfully, the emergency turned out to be a false alarm.

I'm pretty sure this isn't possible, but maybe I'm wrong?
A friend of mine has a lot of law enforcement activity on his street. That said, he only want's a device that will alert him if an RSO unit is within close proximity; for reasons behind my comprehension, he does not want to actually hear voice traffic (don't ask me why). I also am certain that he do...

Temecula Primary isn't patched anymore?
I've been listening to the scanner for several days straight, now, and have not seen temeucla patched with another city/area. Is it a coincidence that they arn't patching them anymore, or is Temecula so busy that they have a dedicated dispatcher for Temecula Primary

Re: Out of Area Question
Another thing that I have forgotten is that if you have a GRE PSR-500 or PSR-600, you need to apply an update. I was an early adopter to this scanner and the first few firmware releases had a problem with 800/900 splinter systems. visit http://www.greamerica.com/support/index.php?_m=downloads&_a...

Re: Out of Area Question
I, too try to listen to the SD RCS (North County System). I live in Temecula, which is a valley. Elevation makes all the difference in the world. Just 100 feet above Temecula's elevation is the difference between 4 bars and none. I used to live in Carlsbad, and travel down there occasionaly, and it ...

Southwest Station Beats
Hey everybody. As for RSO beats, is there a way to accurately find out what the beat is around your home?

Re: Comments: Radio Shack 800Mhz Antenna
That antenna is the BEST for the Temecula area. It gets pretty much anything you could want. But Cannyon Lake does have a lot of dead zones.
