Re: FSP Gone?
I am 99% certain that i have been hearing San Bernardino FSP using Nexedge digital on 508.2000. They could very well be operating in a similar fashion.

Re: Tk 3207
Are these VHF and if so, did you program them for narrowband (12.5 khz bandwidth)?

Re: Cleveland National Forest frequencies
The switch is on hold. They apparently figured out that the proposed input was the IFB for a local AM radio station.

Re: Anyone out there?
I really doubt that of the other cities will go PSEC. Rumor on the street is that for what an agency would pay the County in radio rental and airtime over 5 years, they could build their own system.

Re: Orange County conventional frequencies
They pretty much correlate with the associated trunked TG's. All the Green-TA's are encrypted as well as the White, Gray, Swat etc. Some Silver-TA's are (County Health and maybe a couple others. Again, enc TG = enc TA). Most others are clear. Any particular ones you were inquiring about in particula...

Re: Oc P-25
Mix of 3000's and 5000's. Mostly 3k's that I've seen. Considering that 3k's are ancient by today's standards, I can see many depts going to the APX series eventually, but as I was saying before, the XTS' s can do Phase 1 with the right flashcode, so the subscriber units shouldn't hold up the upgrade...

Re: Oc P-25
And the Motorola radio will remain the dominant one. XTS's can do P25 phase 1. If they end up going phase 2, which I doubt, the APX will be the radio of choice. I would guess that they will do the upgrade at the same time as they reband. Would make sense to do it all at once instead of having to do ...

Re: RVC Command Channels
Kingscup, have you heard if the Norco Battalion and surrounding areas will go back to Command 5? I know they switched to Command 1 due to Norco proper being out of range of support 5. I thought I had heard that this was the eventual plan, but I could be mistaken. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4 using...
