I was in Palm Desert yesterday, EDACS was alive and well, including Palm Desert and County SO units.

I can't account for why some members aren't hearing what they used to hear on EDACS, but I'm in Riverside and I'm currently monitoring Jurupa disp, MoVal disp, one of the SIB TG's, Elsinore F2 c/c, Transpotation, D.A. units, and Animal Control on the EDACS.

I have no hard facts on the official use/ assignment of this frequency in Riverside, all I can add to this conversation is what I've logged. In 2011 I logged this as a training freq being used by RFD at their tower. I didn't make note of a PL use at that time but I did log 465.1125 as the input freq...

In case anyone was wondering about the traffic lately on RPD ch 3 460.325, this was heard from a dispatcher tonight:
"All units use channel 3 for inquiries, channel 2 is broken"

Finally confirmed 464.1375 PL173.8 as a Mission Inn freq.

This is neither their security freq nor their channel 1, as one user was asking another for the security frequency, (which wasn't given), then said he was going back to channel 1.
