97?
I was just listening to RSO South Patrol audio feed and heard 2Perris32 say to dispatch that he was "97." What does that mean? It's not listed anywhere on the list of codes in Resources.

Re: Station 33
Sweet! Hopefully it'll stay open long enough for me to see it when I visit.

Re: San Bernardino and other counties
What we should actually do would be to have a Wikipedia-style website and call it something like ScanSoCali. That would benefit everyone from Riverside, San Bernerdino, Orange, LA, San Diego, and Imperial Counties. Also, people can then contribute and write pages for free without going through conta...

Re: San Bernardino and other counties
To tell everyone the truth, I would love to have LA County. I'm not a web designer but I can help out with freqs if need be. I could send in some freqs and other info so the site would be developed. (I think LA would be better than San Diego since it's an area that many tourists frequent more). Also...

Re: New to RSO and Confused
What really killed me with my PRO 164 is that you have to use multiple banks (i.e. one bank for west, central, Blythe area etc...) instead of entering all LCN values into one bank. The instructions were clear that only one TRS could be stored per bank but did not say anything about entering networke...

Re: New to RSO and Confused
Don't know what to tell you.
As a tip, if you're having trouble listening to Cabazon or Jurupa Valley, there are 800MHz f requs (conventional) that simulcast them but I can't exactly remember what they are.

Re: RSO Patrol Shifts
As far as I found out, for Palm Desert (although this was from 2001) the shift schedule is:
DAY (II) 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
AFTERNOON (III) 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
NIGHT (I) 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Although don't know if this is still right.

Re: New to RSO and Confused
What I've found on a website is that it's enough to program just the site you can hear best. Like I said I'm no expert but what I can tell you is having the South site is well enough to hear everything (as long have all the desired TGs). On another note, only Palm Desert Police dispatch rebroadcasts...
