Re: Forums Out of Whack

I really don't think it's an ISP problem. It's just that it's not the way it usually is so most likely the software itself. I remember when Brandon had to reboot this previously and it had looked just like thils. Hopefully, it'll be addressed soon. I personally have never had any problems with it wh...

Forums Out of Whack

Yesterday afternoon, forums have been taking forever to load and when they do, they are not like they usually are. If someone could please have a look at what's going on, it'd be awesome!

Re: Alerts

I wouldn't expect the City of Riverside to ever do anything just because the county did it. Quite the opposite, actually. WEll for some reason the city and county are independent worlds. I mean San Diego City has it's own trunked radio system while the county is on a seperate one. Maybe Cali needs ...

Re: Alerts

I don't know. They may never go away. There are some regulatory requirements for redundancy. Using the tone outs...

Re: Anybody Got Nest Protect?

I lived most of my life without stupid shit like smoke detectors. The only time they ever go off is when you are cooking or when the battery is dying. Never had one prevent a fire. Same with the CO detectors. The only one who benefits is the companies that bribed lawmakers to mandate they be used i...

Anybody Got Nest Protect?

We're buying a house next year and want to get those smoke/CO alarms. Wonder if anybody has them and how it's working for them. In other words, would it be a good buy?
