Re: Truck Co
I didn't know that the resources tab listed apparatus at fire stations. I guess I'll have to take another look. May have missed something.

Re: Riverside County EDACS System (unknowns) updated 5/7/201
I had no idea that EMS and hospitals were on this TRS. I knew about the RVC Jail Hospital but no others. I also always thought that RVC FIRE was primarily on this system because they have 04-142 as a talkgroup which is simply labeled as Riverside County Fire. I didn't know they had a VHF system unti...

Re: CDF engines at RVC stations
Can't the CDF engines be used for fill-ins like when a company is not available to make a run for a medical emergency?

Desert Incidents
If possible, and I know this is not new, but I'd love to see recordings of incidents from the Indio and Palm Desert stations.

Re: Sleeping with a radio
What I wanna try is when I get my 396XT with Fire Toning capability, I wanna select a specific fire station and leave the scanner on overnight. Then I can wake up like they really do at the firehouse and maybe be like "What was that?!" Then I would just realize that I left my scanner on. T...

Re: ERICA P25 System
Anybody know usage for the Coachella Valley talkgroups? ID 407 is appearantly a test or something but I wanna upload the info to RadioReference. I tried it once as "Unknown" but they didn't take it. They took the Beaumont talkgroups. Also, I'm surprised at how they didn't delete Indio PD's...

Re: Can you hear ERICA?
As far as I know, all police forces are now on ERICA. Unfortunately, they're all encrypted. I thought of getting a digital scanner for the next time I go to the valley but now I see that I"ll be SOL. I guess they don't do any simulcasts because they wanna keep crooks out of the know (especially...

Re: San Bernardino and other counties
One thing that we should remember is that SB County has multiple Motorola Smartnets instead of a single SmartZone. I never understood why though. Furthermore, each of the Smartnets covers a specific part. System 9 covers San Berardino City and I believe Systems 6 and 7 cover the southern end. (Forgo...

Is the public allowed to get a copy of this? If so, I'd love to get my hands on one of them.

Re: CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire went narrowband today
That's good news! Guess my scanner won't be effected when I go down south. I thought stuff really might have changed with the narrowbanding that happened to RVC FIRE recently.
