Riverside Fire & Galleria Mall

Never heard this before. Apparently the west end RFD units have radios to communicate with Galleria @ Tyler security. I just heard RFD Squad 2 advise mall security that they are responding to a medical aid at the Disney store and asking about the best access. They're using mall security F1 repeater ...

Re: Old Riverside PD F2

Thanks for the info. I haven't heard anything on those frequencies, but I haven't been monitoring them, either. The only reason the 460.3 came up is because I still have it programmed from before RPD went to the PSEC system. RE juvenile hall: I've heard a repeater on 460.0375 PL110.9 I've heard refe...

Re: 398.05 today

I did see on my own frequency list that this is an ISR frequency, but ISR is normally FM. The VIKING side was AM. I don't know if the ISR's can switch to AM or not, I'm not that familiar with them. However, it's a good thought. Thanks. As for the VIKING call sign, unless otherwise noted, here in soC...

398.05 today

This afternoon I was listening to VIKING 3-1. I couldn't hear or catch the callsign of who he was talking to, but it was obviously a target spotter at a ground range. VIKING 3-1 wasn't loud & clear at my location, but it was a good signal for over thirty minutes. In the past thirty years of milc...

Old Riverside PD F2

In the past three days I've been hearing 460.3 full quieting (I'm in the Riverside area) using a PL of 131.8. This is the old RPD F2 repeater and Pl. It's just a dead carrier, no voice. Sometimes for a few seconds at a time, but tonight it's been almost constant. Minutes at a time for over an hour n...

Re: Hemet PD going PSEC??

The 2 Facebook comments about Hemet PD going to PSEC, the first has been removed, the second is a raffle for a Uniden BC125AT pre-programmed with Hemet PD/FD freqs. Re: the FD buy PSEC radios, I can see that, just for the purpose of monitoring what is going on, but only 11? Not enough for the whole...

Re: Air Ambulance

Someone on a different list mentioned Reach on 151.6625. I'll try to refine the freq the next time I hear them.
