Heard VC-25 SAM 44 on 127.650 mhz, "clear to land, runway 32." Also news helo TV7.

1736 local, VC-25 has been circling March ARB for last half hour, showing on mode S, no voice traffic yet. Passed over my house a bit ago, heard it up in the clouds, no visual due to foul weather.

Not just one, but 2 U-2 spyplanes up today, XRAY 76 from Palmdale Plant 42, and PINON 93 from Beale AFB. Also heard HI TEST 02 Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk. 369.90, 348.70, 263.0 & 133.65 mhz. XRAY 76 also showing on mode S.

350.025 mhz - Hearing THUMPER USAF E-3B 71-1407 (mode S call sign SCOUT17H) with HAMMER, U.S. Customs. THUMPER mentioned going to satcom. Orbiting just south of my location. Also heard on 252.0 & 282.60 mhz. QTH is Riverside County, CA.

I heard him with March tower 127.650 mhz doing pattern work. I'm in Valle Vista, a/c was L&C, I can just barely here the tower from here. He was showing on mode S here, too.
