What should I do?

Do to this new system coming online in the next year or so, I am contemplating purchasing new and selling some old radio equipment. So, here are the questions that I seek the answers to before doing anything: What is the liklihood of full encryption of this system? Will any local angencies go onto t...

That was the first thing I tried. After I attempted that, I tried to go into the advanced settings.

Interestingly enough, I have no debris on my roof now, and the problem has returned within the last week or so. Also, If I remove the PL tone from the object on the scanner, the hissing noise is ongoing and won't stop until dispatch or a user transmitts. The problem also seems to be worse on support...

Re: RSO TRS and PRO 164

Re: Murrieta PD Clemars

The frequencies themselves probably won't change very much, if at all. The major change is going to be the mode that you set the scanner in. Usually, this gets changed from FM to NFM.

Re: RSO TRS and PRO 164

Unfortunately, you cannot combine the south and desert systems into one for a couple of reasons. First, the control channels are transmitting different data. Second, the south system has two more LCN's than the desert system; this means that you would miss a significant number of radio transmissions...
