That was the first thing I tried. After I attempted that, I tried to go into the advanced settings.

Interestingly enough, I have no debris on my roof now, and the problem has returned within the last week or so. Also, If I remove the PL tone from the object on the scanner, the hissing noise is ongoing and won't stop until dispatch or a user transmitts. The problem also seems to be worse on support...

Just saw this new system on RR. Anyone know if this system will be encrypted? At least it's not Phase II X2-TDMA.

That would work perfectly. The trick is to experiment with different setups and see which one works best for you. If the Santa Rosa system does not work for you, try the Central system. Sometimes, Temecula and Jurupa will bounce off the Central.

The frequencies themselves probably won't change very much, if at all. The major change is going to be the mode that you set the scanner in. Usually, this gets changed from FM to NFM.

Unfortunately, you cannot combine the south and desert systems into one for a couple of reasons. First, the control channels are transmitting different data. Second, the south system has two more LCN's than the desert system; this means that you would miss a significant number of radio transmissions...

Today, I heared Murrieta Dispatch doing tests for their Clemars channel (the officer advised it was pssibly channel 6). Anyone know about this?
