Corona PD back to encryption.

Post by anon-e-mouse »

As of 4pm yesterday, Corona PD turned off their legacy patch on the VHF system and now all units are utilizing PSEC encrypted channels.

For those that don't remember, Corona PD joined RSO PSEC system earlier this year but due to coverage issues in the McKinley area they were forced to turn on the patch to their legacy VHF system and require all units in that area to switch channels in order to communicate. Since then they have installed a new tower to fix the coverage issues and after extensive testing, all units are now on secure channels and no legacy systems are being utilized.

To date, ALL request from the media for access to their system has been blanket denied.
