Scanned ERICA yesterday and as we know everything is mostly encrypted.

Talkgroups logged.
200
300
400
407 (clear voice)
410
500
521
603
604
1027

All valley police depts switched over and old freqs completely silent.
Also an ERICA control channel on 858.7625 active from Mt David in Beaumont.

When the county went with the trunked 800 system way back when, Riverside City told 'em to pound sand. Maybe this time, too. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Anybody know usage for the Coachella Valley talkgroups? ID 407 is appearantly a test or something but I wanna upload the info to RadioReference. I tried it once as "Unknown" but they didn't take it. They took the Beaumont talkgroups. Also, I'm surprised at how they didn't delete Indio PD's conventional system on RR.

I wouldn't be surprised if the PSEC becomes used by all municipal police forces: Banning, Corona, Hemet, Murrieta, and Riverside City, and to tell the truth, I don't get why Beaumont threw in their lot on ERICA and not Banning as well? Banning should've been on that TRS too lol!

For Beaumont I logged traffic on id 105 talk about receptacle, generators, etc. Sounds electrical/maintenance related. Other non encrypted talkgroups noted during brief check include: 105, 106, 107 and 109. I hope to get them and any others sorted out soon.
