RSO Patrol Shifts

Post by cvrules90 »

I was wondering if anybody knows the exact start/end times for Riverside Sheriff?

Also, do those times apply to all stations in the county. That is, would Palm Desert use the same shift schedule as Indio or Perris?

I'm not sure about the precise start/end times, but I do know that all of the shifts are exactly the same for every station in the county.

That is not true. Some stations only run three shifts, others run four. And not all times are the same.

With the layoffs announced today (up to 800) by Stan Sniff, you might not have ANYONE on patrol during some times of the day....

As far as I found out, for Palm Desert (although this was from 2001) the shift schedule is:

DAY (II) 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
AFTERNOON (III) 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
NIGHT (I) 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Although don't know if this is still right.
