WHAT IS THE YEAR THEY CHANGED

HI GUYS DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE CHANGED TO THE UHF FROM VHF AND WHAT WAS THE OLD VHF FREQS WAS. A FRIEND HAS AN OLD SCANNER AN HE WAS WONDERING I DONT KNOW I MOVED HERE IN 1976 THEY WERE ON UHF. THANKS BIG ED

From what I could tell, around 1974'ish.

156.090 KMB401. Small agencies didn' have a lot of frequencies like now, CLEMARS 154.920 was secondary for most. I think they switched to UHF in mid 70's.

did let start with 453.- 460. i think fire was 153.830 or .860 white they used 154.280 right sp1989. big ed
