There is also FlightRadar24 and FlightAware that provide the same kind of service. I provide much of the realtime data for SoCal on PlaneFinder using a Mode-S Beast receiver.
Even better, for a small investment ($30 receiver and antenna), you can set up your own flight tracking station at home. I use PlanePlotter as the software platform. With sufficient users, you can triangulate aircraft that don't broadcast their position, such as fire, law enforcement and military.
