Big Ed, do you mean individual calls, like RSO had with EDACS? I don't think PSEC has that capability, at least how it is set up at present. The Pro 197 isn't P25 Phase II capable, which is required for PSEC, then it's encrypted on top of that. It will trunk in the 700 mhz band, though. If you are referring to the National Interoperability I-CALL and I-TAC 800 mhz freqs, I don't know if the PSEC radios have those or not, if they do, I would imagine they would not be encrypted but that is just a SWAG on my part. I do know that some EDACS HTs I have used in the past had I-CALL and I-TAC as well as some FIREMARS channels programmed into them, but I never heard anything on them except the occasional deputy ordering a hamburger from a partner going on a food run.

Those national calling frequencies ARE in the clear. I've never heard them, but it's listed that way.
