Advice for a newbie please.

This is the place to discuss Riverside County scanning related topics. Whether it be something about a particular agency, radios, antennas, or other general scanner related questions, you can talk about it here.

Well I went ahead and purchased the Uniden BC125At on amazon for $90.

I received it yesterday and either I'm not the brightest or the owners manual is confusing to read.

Anybody have one and willing to give me a crash course in programming and using its feature's?

I don't, but scanners that are simple and take the least amount of time to program. You should have 10 banks that can hold up to 50 channels each. When you press Prog (or whatever it says), select the location and enter the frequency. Like I said I am more high tech in that sense but do study the manual more carefully. That's about the most important thing you can do for yourself with any piece of technology-not just a scanner.
