Old Riverside PD F2

Post by retiredFD07 »

In the past three days I've been hearing 460.3 full quieting (I'm in the Riverside area) using a PL of 131.8. This is the old RPD F2 repeater and Pl. It's just a dead carrier, no voice. Sometimes for a few seconds at a time, but tonight it's been almost constant. Minutes at a time for over an hour now.
Has anyone heard of Riverside or anyone else planning on using this frequency in the future?

Juvenile Hall uses freqs in the 460 mhz range for their HTs. I think they are using recycled freqs from RSO 460.275. 460.225, 460.35, maybe they picked up some of RPDs freqs in that range?

Thanks for the info. I haven't heard anything on those frequencies, but I haven't been monitoring them, either. The only reason the 460.3 came up is because I still have it programmed from before RPD went to the PSEC system.
RE juvenile hall: I've heard a repeater on 460.0375 PL110.9 I've heard references to the duty desk, classroom, computer lab, gym, dining hall, and intake. I can hear the input on 465.0375, so it must be fairly close. Sounds like either a continuation school, juvenile hall, or some other type of custodial facility.
