Maybe it's my location, dunno. Brandon, are you hearing lots of traffic, or just a few xmit here and there?

Not much traffic but I'm guessing a lot may have taken today off. Next week will be a better test I think.

Has the Scan RIverside database been updated?

Hearing bits of traffic today. I can hear a male speaking to someone else but only getting one side of the conversation. The part that I can get is loud & clear. I'm running it in open mode since there are no TGs for the system listed anywhere yet.

Just caught my first voice traffic on the system - male calling "San Bernardino" and talking about the "Monte Vista Bridge". Female answered. Talk Group was 801.

I heard the Monte Vista bridge traffic as well. Today I'm hearing traffic on TG 1212, no locations given yet.

Yep! Hearing traffic on 1212 as well. Something to do with cleaning up glass and then something about a closed gate. Sometimes it does sound like I only get one side like you mentioned earlier. If it isn't a radio issue (non-standard bandplan?) then maybe it's because the guys are close to each other and one is talking on the radio while the other is signalling back with his hands or yelling rather than using the radio (like maybe he has his hands full or something)?

Well at least it looks like there's something in the clear left for us.

Heard a new TG, 1221. Traffic seemed to be about clearing debris off a freeway but location given. Users seem unsure how to operate the radios, maybe the new system is not fully in service, has anyone tried the old analog trunked system to see if it is still in use? Guess I will give it a try this PM.
