West System Transmitter Site and Takgroups.

This forum is used for topics that specifically relate to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. This area was mostly for stuff about the old EDACS system, but new topics about RSO are also welcome.

The PSEC radio system will consist mostly of 700 frequencies. However, 800 (1 site I believe) and several VHF radio sites will be added to extend coverage in the commonly known coverage holes.

On the other hand, if you were next to Lake Hemet, it could've also veen a VHF repeater for the fire or police department. Both Hemet City Police and Fire use a VHF radio setup so they likely have a site at Lake Hemet, but I'm not sure.
