RSO helicopter crash in Hemet

RSO helicopter crash in Hemet

Looks like one of the helos crashed while doing some training at Hemet Ryan. No injuries.

Minor injuries. But as they say, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing, and any landing where the airframe can be re-used is an excellent landing.

Where did they broadcast the crash?

It's a good thing the heli didn't set that pickup truck on fire in the process.

I'm sure the truck and the electric cart arrived after the crash. The part of the airfield where they practice autorotation is pretty barren.

Yup but the heli could have crashed with a big radius. The explosion could easily take buildings and vehicles with it.

From the sounds of it, they were practicing autorotation landings. The crash was probably a dynamic rollover when they powered back up to take off again.
