The current EDACS talkgroup is used by Prevention officers to talk to RSO, we also sometimes use it on the com unit to talk to Perris while on an event such as Coachella Fest..etc. There will be a VHF patch that we will have access to the new system, not sure how it will work yet.

OK, so it's all more on the administrative side then.

Typically, cops don't need to talk to firemen on the radio. That's not to say it never happens, but it's rare.
