Which type/brand of radios does Riverside County Fire currently use? Do they use the same ones as RSO, or different ones?

Which units use which? Also, some pictures would be great.

Radios are not tied to specific apparatus. The Kenwoods are being phased out and replaced by the Bendix King.

The Bendix King looks cool. Does it also have a shirt speaker (like the Sheriff's radios)?

Both Bendix-King and Kenwood have that option.

Nice. May I ask how you talk to RSO when you have to work with them in an incident?

It has always been face to face or through dispatch. I don't see that changing unless there is a major emergency.

I thought TGID 04-142 on the Riverside County system served that purpose.

I am sure it is there for major emergencies but for day to day operations, I don't see it being used. If it is used, it would probably be used between fire chiefs and sheriffs command staff and not field personnel.
