Explanation of Riverside County Fire Report

Post by cvrules90 »

Can someone explain to me, some things of the RVC Fire report?

I see, for example, it says Ground Personel 0 even if there are crewmembers on the ground.

Furthermore, what is the difference between RVC Medics and number of AMBs? My guess is AMBs are AMR cars, and RVC Medics are the county paramedics.

Also, at the bottom of the report, what does the "OR:" stand for?

RVC medics refers to the fire dept paramedic ambulances used in the Coves and Indio. Ambulances refer to other ambulances which is typically AMR. This report was made before there was widespread paramedics on engine companies.

The rest of it. I have no idea what you are taking about. I don't see it on the reports.

Ok. I will see if I can't get a screenshot for it. Your help is still, as always, much appreciated.

Just looked at a report, and the OR I was talking about is no longer indicated.
