Pilot just advised he is over Riverside and heading towards Palmdale.

Interesting listening... That's been a pretty busy airplane, lately.
Lots of unusual military air traffic lately. Just yesterday, I spotted a pair of V22's low flying westbound over the 210, and minutes later, an eastbound B52 at about 8000ft over Riverside.

Would have like to have seen the B-52. I see V-22's as well as lots of Marine helicopters passing over where I live, going back & forth from 29 Palms and Miramar, but no BUFFs yet. The coolest thing I ever saw was back in the early 60's, a whole fleet of bombers were apparently using Santa Monica for a practice bomb run. The whole sky was filled with contrails from the bombers and off to the sides, the corkscrewing contrails from the fighters escorting them. Exciting stuff for a kid to see in his own front yard!
