238.90 mhz - Air refueling ops with RATS 11 (KC-135R 57-2598 AFRC 452 AMW/336 ARS) & SLAM 18 (C-17A 05-5139 AFRC 452 AMW/729 AS). Referred to this freq as "AR primary."

sp, I caught this, too, just about the only milcom I caught this morning. They departed MARB to the south on 125.65 ZLA, then went to 132.85 ZLA (OC & off the OC coast). This is their normal route to the AR-209 track just past Santa Catalina Isl. I don't know if this is a squadron A/R freq, or the primary freq for use in AR-209, but they use this all the time out there.

I hear them all the time on this freq, seems to be air refueling training most of the time. Hear them talking about how many people need to qualify, etc. Other than this, it has been pretty dead so far this week, although heard the Surf CAP guys doing something earlier this morning.

Active again today with RATS 11 (KC-135R #63-8024) & SLAM 32 (C-17A #05-5140).
