You would think the FCC would shut it down, but it has been running for over 34 years. Common belief is the FCC lets it run to keep the nutcases contained on one repeater.
Being on Saddleback, it is easily accessable to most of us in Riverside County, either for listening or for talking on (if properly licensed). Notice that it is an odd-split. It is 147.435 MHz (input of 146.40 MHz with a CTCSS/PL of 103.5). Don't listen to it at work or near children.
