Temecula Primary isn't patched anymore?

Post by temfreqhunter »

I've been listening to the scanner for several days straight, now, and have not seen temeucla patched with another city/area. Is it a coincidence that they arn't patching them anymore, or is Temecula so busy that they have a dedicated dispatcher for Temecula Primary

It is not a matter of how busy a station is to have a dedicated dispatcher. It has to due if dispatch has enough personel to do it. If there are enough dispatchers then they will do so, if not then they patch.

Okay, got it. I think they are way understaffed. I had to call 911 from a landline once a few years ago and had to wait 2.5 minutes before an RSO dispatcher answered the call. Thankfully, the emergency turned out to be a false alarm.
