List of RSO I-Call ID's

Post by convE36 »

Does anyone know if the I-Call ID's stay the same for each deputy? Or each radio? Or each beat? As in, would there be any purpose to logging and tagging I-Call ID's?

Thanks!

Only for certain units
Star 91 for example always uses 10991 (while in the bird), Star 92 = 10992, Star 96 - 10996.
Motor cops follow a format as well.... ID 301 = Motor 1, 302 = Motor 2, etc...
Dispatch consoles tend to stay the same, 102 is normally Perris Disp, 109 = Moval Disp, The oddball is Colorado River which uses radio 2900.
107 is often used for i-calls between dispatch and the field.

Watching UniTrunker you will notice specific ranges of radio ID's allocated for each station. It really helps when identifying specific radios in the program.

So to answer your question, I would only tag certain ones such as Star 9 or dispatch. The rest are not really worth doing IMHO.

I guess I need to monitor motor units in my coachella valley to see if this is true.

Another option is to enter i0. That's a wildcard ID so you'll get to hear all iCalls no matter where they're from.

Exactly... The chp copter h-60 is our primary air support unit...I need to get the I.d. Next time. We never get any of the star units here. 8-)
