FTO (Fire Tone Out) going to Hold

Post by 4and6 »

Hi All,

I have a Uniden BC 346XT and I have the right tones and it works well on stand by but when tone is heard correctly, the unit goes to Hold and I hear all traffic on that freq.. Delay is 10 seconds...I am monitoring two station tone outs. Can someone help ? Can I only monitor one station at a time ? 8-)

Try setting the delay higher to 30 seconds. Sometimes they take forever to get the dispatch out after the tone :) I seem to remember this being an issue. Also curious to know if shorter tones used by RVC even work with the Unidens?
