New RVC Engines/Stations?
New RVC Engines/Stations?
I've been hearing Engine 99 and Engine 101 since the first of the year. Anyone know anything about them?
Re: New RVC Engines/Stations?
Engine 99 is out of new FS99 next to Morrison Park in Moreno Valley. Engine 101 is out of new FS101 in Perris. Engine 1 moved to FS101 as engine 101

So will Station 1 be closing?Kingscup wrote:Engine 99 is out of new FS99 next to Morrison Park in Moreno Valley. Engine 101 is out of new FS101 in Perris. Engine 1 moved to FS101 as engine 101
Re: New RVC Engines/Stations?
No. There are still 2 CAL FIRE engines at station and a dozer at the station during fire season.cvrules90 wrote:So will Station 1 be closing?
Re: New RVC Engines/Stations?
Oh ok. So just basically reserve equipment or something.
Re: New RVC Engines/Stations?
I had looked on the RVC website before I posted my question, and didn't find a 99 or 101. The highest number they had listed was FS96. Do stations 97, 98, and 100 exist yet or are they planned for the future (like FS95)? The last I read about 95 it may be years (or longer) before it opens because the development of housing surrounding it won't be moving forward for who knows how long.
Thanks to all for the information.

It's likely that it just hasn't been updated yet.BobT wrote:I had looked on the RVC website before I posted my question, and didn't find a 99 or 101. The highest number they had listed was FS96. FS101 is only a couple blocks away from FS1 so engine 101 still has the same response area as old engine 1.
Re: New RVC Engines/Stations?
I meant the WEBSITE wasn't updated but I don't frequent it that much I must say.
Re: New RVC Engines/Stations?
The website has not been updated as FS99 and FS101 opened up in Nov/Dec of last year.BobT wrote:I had looked on the RVC website before I posted my question, and didn't find a 99 or 101. FS97 is set to open in Lake Elsinore in July with an engine. July of 2014 will have a truck company.
I have no information on fire stations 98 or 100 but I would not be surprised if they are on paper somewhere. I heard a rumor of a FS103 but I have no info on it.
I think Brandon created this fire station list and I try to keep it updated.
