Unknown RSO callsign designators

Unknown RSO callsign designators

Post by brandon »

There are some callsign designators heard on the RSO talkgroups that have me stumped and am hoping somebody may be able to help.

"E-S"
"H-D"
"Zebra"

Does anybody know who or what these units are? I would like to add them to the list if possible.

Yeah I live in Canyon Lake and I heard "zebra" tonight...

When I heard it, they said something like, "Were on our way to meet with zebra units"...

So I am assuming they are probably some sort of "special ops"

I hear the call sign "gang" quit often for Elsinore, you hear them refer to that group of people as "gang" units...

You dont usually hear "Lincoln" units refering to say "PC" or "Frank" units like that... So I would assume they are a certain team...

But now I am def curious!

ES units are the Sheriff's SEB (Special Enforcement Bureau) mainly EST/SWAT
Zebra units are RAID-Auto theft units
HD units are HDT (Hazardous Device Team)
