158.805 mhz.....who is it?
158.805 mhz.....who is it?
I updated my scanner recently via Radio Reference, and this freq is supposed to be Corona FD Tac 2. I have been hearing what sounds like a security operation with different posts calling in at regular times, also heard a request for a "psych tech" to respond to a certain location. The radio traffic does not sound 'polished' like a PD or FD, but more like a security company. I checked R.R. and there are no other local listings besides Corona FD. The psych tech thing sounds like Patton State Hospital, or maybe ETS in Riverside. The signal is weak readable in downtown Riverside. Anybody have any ideas? I just checked RR, and Patton is on SBSO's trunked system, so maybe ETS or Juvenile Hall in Riverside, although I suspect Juvie uses the old jail and hospital 460 mhz freqs based on seeing the HTs they have.

FWIW, this link:
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSear ... 1582362179
Will take you to the FCC license search tool. Good for all the things that aren't on Radioreference
.......which is probably much more than what is actually on it.

Patton is actually kind of interesting to listen to in the daytime, nights it's mostly stations checking in every half hour. I looked on line, Patton is one of the last places that only require 832 PC training to be a police officer.
