Heard the dispatcher for the first time on TG 801, female ID'ing as "San Bernardino". Talking to a male who advised he just removed a wicker chair from the freeway, 71 & Euclid. Both sides of conversation were loud & clear at my location in E. Hemet.

Talking about "Coroner is 10-97" & CHP has all lanes shut down for investigation. Sounds like an 11-44 somewhere.

Really exciting action.sp1989 wrote:Talking about "Coroner is 10-97" & CHP has all lanes shut down for investigation. Sounds like an 11-44 somewhere.

It beats listening to PSEC and ERICA. hahahahahaha
Re: CALTRANS System - SysID: 4A6 - 857.9875 CC
Because you CAN'T listen to those two systems. Well, you can hear public works on ERICA and the "Call" talkgroups on PSEC.sp1989 wrote:It beats listening to PSEC and ERICA. hahahahahaha

That was a joke, CV. Conjure up the image of someone sitting in front of their radio, anxiously listening to PSEC or ERICA, waiting for the clear traffic that never comes....

Just heard "Santa Ana" and a C/T unit in the clear on 860.7375 in repeater mode (PL110.9) ref something on southbound I-5 south of Crown Valley. This freq was part of the old system 1224.

Do you have that freq programmed as part of the new trunked system? It's not in the group of freqs from Radioreference for the new system.

No, this is part of the old MOT system. I have those freqs still in my scanner but I'm scanning them in conventional mode to see if they're still being used. According to my lackluster frequency files, this is the first time I've heard this frequency used in conventional mode.sp1989 wrote:Do you have that freq programmed as part of the new trunked system?
