With the holiday spirit do any of you think Santa Claus exists? I as a kid thought he did but now I'm sure he doesn't.

In that case, WE are Santa Clause, because that jackass is giving away freebies paid for with our tax dollars.

I think it's just a plain old gimmick. I think all it is to it is we, as family and friends, buy gifts for others. Really, I think no Santa has ever existed. I"ll commit suicide if someone ever finds the "real" Santa Claus.
