Unknown heard from Menifee/Lake Elsinore

Post by convE36 »

These are just a few (of lots!) that I cant figure out what/who they are... I can hear them from the Canyon Lake area... So they may be from the Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Temecula, Murrieta or Perris area... Maybe Hemet...

152.465 PL156.7

(Lakeside Highschool uses a repeater with this same frequency but PL192.8, and who ever uses PL156.7 did not sound like they were using a repeater but for sure was a school, talking about "Mr. Price")

464.0375 DPL662

For sure using a repeater. Talking about fixing the gates at Heritage Lake, and something about fixing a hole in the wall from a student hitting it from Paloma. School district maintenance?

461.6625 PL250.3

Dont remember what I heard here...

452.800 PL141.3

Sounds like a school but, very strong signal from a repeater.

153.650 DPL023

???

I will list more soon...

452.800 141.3 I believe is the RTA Dial A Ride buses for Riverside City
461.6625 PL250.3 might be a cement truck (Superior Ready Mix?)
Good catch on the Menifee school dist. I have not had any luck picking up their schools security. A while ago I asked someone who goes to Paloma and they said Nextels, but have not been able to confirm and unable to hear anything myself. The freq you found is licensed as WQJQ317 so it will be interesting to see if the others are active.

I think this is Canyon Lake Golf Course maintenance. Because when I come to think of it, the "Operations" frequency is only used for the actually interior of Canyon Lake operations and maintenance, like the parks and beaches. I never ever hear anything to do with golf course maintenance on 464.875 (CL Ops). Sometimes hear the Pro Shop talking about Tee times, but no more than that. This attached TEXT BELOW says the control point is in Calabasas, but the coordinates are are Canyon Lake, and im pretty sure it is ran by these people too. This morning I heard two guys talking about hole 3 and 4 and what time people start "tee-ing" off (using the 451. frequency). Sounded like they were simplex and when I tried to "sniff" around on the 452. freq I found nothing. Any thoughts here brandon? I love finding new frequencies!

Alright brandon, i need you to help me figure out which school is using GMRS freq .550

It's driving me nuts, i can hear them talking about room numbers and "seniors" and sometimes (like right now) i hear them late at night (it's just past mid-night). They arent using a repeater....

and ur not too far away from where i am so maybe u can hear them better....

let me know, im about to get on my radio and ask them for there call-sign (which im sure they dont have)

Hey Daniel I put that freq and hearing what I suspect is the Perris Sky Diving. It's definitely something from an airport as they talked about a runway, aircraft fuel, military jumpers and positioning cameras.
