BLUTO 3-3 & 3-4 had the CAP earlier this morning with TEFLON 0-3 as the tanker.
BAND 5-1 & 5-2 currently have the CAP with TEFLON 0-4 as the tanker. CAP call sign could be VAN, but it sounds more like BAN or BAND to me.
138.425 BAND 5-1 & 5-2 a/a. They tried 138.15, then 138.3, finally settled on 138.425.
271.0 Primary Big Foot contact.
277.4 ZLA CAP contact.
282.6 Primary tanker freq.
I also briefly heard AF 1 on 121.3 SoCal for OC.

Sounds like "Vand" to me?, the D on the end is definite. Hearing Vand 5-5 & 5-6, Teflon 0-5 at the moment. They sound like they are right in the area, I'm only using an indoor antenna and reception is outstanding. Also some traffic on 284.00 mhz.

Lots of activity this morning, same freqs as yesterday. Rock 3, 4, 5 & 6, several intercepts with aircraft.

271.000 is active right now, I just read Obama is in Beverly Hills this afternoon. Hearing what I think is Lubo 4-1 & 4-2 with Bigfoot. Lubo is 56th Fighter Wing, Luke AFB, AZ.

yeah, I was watching AF1 92-9000 come into LAX area. The Backup aircraft was SAM44 Boeing 757/C-32A (09-0017 / Mode-S:AE4AEA)
Also some nice tracks from those Tankers/Fighter jets above the LAX area on the WebTrak!

Lots of traffic on NORAD Blue 15, 271.000 mhz, hearing Rock 0-3, Rock 0-4, Zombie, Surf Ops. Lots of calling 'contact', air fueling maybe? Heard un-ID aircraft talking to ZLA on 277.40 mhz stating they were entering the CAP. Is Obama in town, sounds real and not like a drill.

Just checked the news, Barry is going to be in town this afternoon, that explains it.
