Per today's Press-Enterprise:

There will be a large scale aerial and ground invasion at Ft Irwin tonight. Twenty aircraft will depart March with 615 US Army paratroopers and their heavy equipment They will join 1,000 ground troops already at Ft Irwin for the exercise
.
Although the airlift will be initiated at March, none if March's aircraft are involved in the exercise.

The article didn't give any specific times, just that the exercise is scheduled for tonight.

Just heard March conducting a radio check with Kingfish on 141.400 in AM mode. Might be worth monitoring this freq.

It's 01:00. I'm going to bed, but here's what I've heard since 22:57.

141.4 AM March GCA with radio checks (I couldn't hear who he was checking with).
Flight departures: 121.75 March ground > 127.65 March tower > 134.0 SoCal dep > 135.275 > Palm Springs A/D > 133.65 Joshua > Sundance (Fort Irwin), he didn't give a freq.

142.9 AM a/a
138.5 AM a/a
348.7 HIGH TEST

The flights leaving March sounded like DOGS call signs but I could never hear it clear enough to be certain.

Prior to take-off, a/c 2-3 aborted it's flight due to mechanical issues. Taxi'ed back to trouble shoot, I never heard anything after that.

Thought it was going to be more active than it's been.
